LMP invests in Grobman & Schwarz

The LMP Group, a munich-based IT investment holding, invests in Grobman & Schwarz GmbH, a munich-based software and consulting services company, founded in 2008. With the investment, Grobman & Schwarz becomes part of the LMP Group which already includes reputable IT services and software companies.

It is already the second acquisition for LMP within a short period of time in the Software & Solutions branch. LMP ́s objective is to offer a comprehensive portfolio of products, services and solutions especially for industrial companies, for their necessary transformation of business and production processes driven by the digitalization.

Grobman & Schwarz which has a focus on project management in larger organizations, employs about 20 specialists who are developing solutions for multi project management and portfolio administration. Thus Grobman & Schwarz constitutes a digitizing partner for large and medium-sized enterprises and supports the transition to cloud technology based on the modern technologies of Microsoft like Project and Sharepoint.

Customers already benefit from a variety of solutions which have been developed by Grobman & Schwarz throughout the years. „In this sector we see a lot of potential for us and our customers who increasingly accommodate digitalization through flexible cloud solutions instead of on-premise approaches.“ explains Sebastian Vorgel, CEO of Grobman & Schwarz, who himself took over shares of Grobman & Schwarz along with LMP, his point of view about the development of the market.

The cloud business together with the solutions of the company will be further emphasized in the future, to offer customers a comprehensive portfolio of products that can be quickly and easily tailored to customer requirements. The combination of standard solutions „out-of-the-box“ together with the necessary customization leads to shorter project terms as well as lower costs for customers.“ describes Dario Rienhardt, Investment Manager at LMP, the further strategy of the company.

The company will be led by Sebastian Vorgel, who was already head of project management and customer service the last four years and was appointed to management in November 2017. Jewgenij Grobman is handing over the operative responsibility of Grobman & Schwarz, but will continue to be available for the company in an advisory capacity.

With the strategic know-how of LMP and together with the companies of the LMP Group we can further develop our strengths and competitive advantages as well as offer even more comprehensive solutions to our customers.” describes Sebastian Vorgel the added value of the partnership with LMP.

Besides comprehensive technical know-how along all sectors of modern software development the team of Grobman & Schwarz has built up excellent long-term customer relationships over the last years. This makes the company so attractive for LMP.“ illustrates Thomas Luther, Managing Partner of LMP, the value of the company.
